We are seeking an experienced and motivated Finance Administration Officer to join the Finance team on a 12 maximum term role. This is a great development opportunity for someone looking to broaden their finance experience while supporting our Health Fund, Dental and Eye Care businesses.
About the Role
You will support the day‐to‐day financial operations, completing daily, weekly and monthly finance tasks, reconciliations and reporting. The role works closely with the Finance Manager and broader business stakeholders to ensure accurate financial processing and timely outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Daily, weekly and monthly finance and accounting tasks
* Bank and balance sheet reconciliations
* End‐of‐month journals and reporting
* Processing payment, banking and debtor files
* Supporting Care Centres with banking enquiries
* Finance support for Dental and Eye Care businesses
* Credit card reconciliations and corporate card administration
* Accounts payable back‐up and team relief support
* Assistance with ad‐hoc projects and reporting
About You
* Strong numeracy, accuracy and attention to detail
* Well organised with good time management skills
* Confident communicator with strong problem‐solving ability
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
* Experience with Paragon, Sage 300 or similar systems (desirable)
* Finance or accounting experience desirable
* Cert IV in Accounting/Bookkeeping (desirable)
