Job Description:
The role of Director involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of Saints Academy, ensuring high-quality education and care provision. This includes managing daily ratios, supervising staff, and maintaining physical facilities.
Responsibilities:
* Ensure the educational program aligns with the academy's vision and philosophy.
* Maintain daily ratios and organise staffing accordingly.
* Oversee the physical facilities with a focus on function, aesthetics, risk, and compliance.
* Supervise and ensure the safety of children, understanding risk, compliance, and wellbeing.
* Organise excursions, incursions, and related arrangements primarily for vacation programs.
* Manage food and beverage services.
* Handle medical needs of children, including medication administration, health plans, and risk minimisation.
* Develop and maintain relationships that support and partner with families.
* Lead and support staff, coordinating staff meetings and morning briefings, and supporting staff wellbeing.
