Contract: 12 months
Must Have Skills:
* Highly experienced enterprise infrastructure and security professional with 20+ years in network, infrastructure, and security engineering, including 10+ years in customer-facing support and 8+ years as a senior SME across multiple vendor technologies.
* Strong hands‐on expertise across Windows, Linux, VMware, servers, storage, backup, and cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCP, with solid experience in ITIL/ITSM processes, monitoring, ticketing, SLA delivery, and escalation management.
* Recognised for excellent communication, customer engagement, analytical problem‐solving, collaboration, and the ability to support on‐call and after‐hours escalations in high‐pressure enterprise environments.
Nice to Have Skills:
* Experience in Telco/ISP and Australian government or public sector environments is highly regarded, particularly with knowledge of relevant security and compliance frameworks.
* Strong exposure to large‐scale network transformation, migration, or modernisation projects, along with familiarity with cloud networking and integration patterns across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
* Relevant industry certifications in Windows, VMware, and Cloud technologies would be considered a strong advantage.
