Job Description
3. Provide expert support for core finance applications, acting as the subject matter expert for assigned systems and modules
4. Support daily, monthly and year‐end finance processing to ensure reporting deadlines are met
5. Maintain and configure finance systems, including chart of accounts, business units, workflows and user access
6. Monitor and reconcile system interfaces between internal and external applications
7. Respond to complex system and user issues, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors where required
8. Ensure finance systems comply with internal policies, audit requirements and regulatory standards
9. Develop and maintain high‐quality system documentation, user guides and process materials
10. Identify opportunities to improve system functionality, data accuracy and process efficiency
11. Support finance system projects, including design, testing, implementation and post go‐live support
The Successful Applicant
A successful System Accountant should have:
12. A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
13. Strong understanding of core finance processes including General Ledger, AP, AR and Purchasing
14. Hands‐on experience supporting or managing large ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft)
15. Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills, with the ability to understand complex data flows
16. Experience producing clear, structured system and process documentation
