About the role
The role of Mental Health Clinician conducts mental health assessment, psychological treatment and recovery support to consumers accessing health services for mental health issues especially for consumers with Personality Disorders at the mental health service of West Moreton Health. The Mental Health Clinician also collaborates with others to provide clinical leadership by offering advice on assessment, treatment options and risk management as required.

About you
- Clinical practice and expertise in a relevant discipline to conduct triage, clinical assessment and intervention in an acute setting within the current legislative and policy context.
- Ability to work autonomously and provide independent professional judgement and expertise in problem solving and clinical management of a complex caseload, without immediate clinical practice from a more senior clinician.
- Ability to collaborate at a work unit/service area level and/or across professions to ensure effective service delivery and quality outcomes.
**Mandatory Requirements**:
- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
