Responsibilities
* Safely operate and position Truck Mounted Attenuator (TMA) vehicles in accordance with site-specific Traffic Guidance Schemes (TGS) and Main Roads WA standards.
* Implement, maintain, and dismantle temporary Traffic Management setups, including signage and devices.
* Control vehicle and pedestrian traffic using stop/slow bats and two-way radio communication.
* Conduct thorough pre-start checks on vehicles and all traffic management equipment.
* Monitor worksite safety, traffic flow, and performance, promptly adjusting controls as required.
* Complete necessary site safety documentation and administrative records accurately.
* Work a variety of shifts, including early starts, night shifts, and weekends, as project demands require.
Qualifications
* A current (C) Driver's Licence or higher.
* Current Main Roads WA Operate Truck Mounted Attenuator (OTMA) Accreditation. (Optional)
* Current Main Roads WA Basic Worksite Traffic Management (BWTM) & Traffic Controller (TC) Accreditations. (Mandatory)
* A valid Construction Safety Awareness Training Card (White Card). (Mandatory)
* Proven experience in implementing traffic management plans/TGS and operating a TMA on high-volume roads.
* A strong, demonstrable commitment to workplace safety and WHS procedures.
* Excellent communication skills, reliability, and flexibility to meet project requirements.
* Ability to pass a pre-employment and ongoing drug and alcohol screening.
