**Respiratory Coordinator Role Overview**

**Key Responsibilities:**
1. To provide a high level of support and work in the development and implementation of effective and efficient respiratory services.
2. To reduce emergency department presentations and hospital admissions for clients with respiratory conditions.
3. To facilitate timely transfer of respiratory patients from Metropolitan health services to their community or residence.
4. To support vulnerable groups in effectively using health services.
**Requirements:**
* Must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
* A minimum of 3 years full-time equivalent post-registration experience.
* Demonstrated competence in nursing practice in accordance with the appropriate standards.
* Effective communication skills, including problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation.
* Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and prioritize workloads.
