We are seeking experienced Carers with a Certificate III in Aged Care to undertake the role of a Carer at our Griffith Village on a casual basis.
Responsibilities
* Empowering our residents to ensure their choices and preferences are met, including serving food and feeding residents when required
* Assisting residents with their daily care needs
* Assisting residents to participate in activities
You will bring
* A caring and patient outlook and enjoy making a positive impact to our residents everyday lives.
* A Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent
* Demonstrated experience in an aged care or community health setting and an understanding of issues relating to dementia care
* Previous working knowledge of the aged care industry and person‐centred care
* Outstanding customer service skills and the ability to build and maintain trusted relationships
* Confidence working in a flexible team environment
* Well‐developed communication skills, both written and verbal
* Ability to speak other languages (desirable but not essential)
