Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to step into a key leadership role within a growing hospitality group.
Reporting to the Venue Manager, you will support the day-to-day operations of the venue, lead from the floor and play a vital role in delivering exceptional guest experiences.
You'll be hands‐on, people‐focused and commercially aware, contributing to a strong team culture and ensuring the venue operates at the highest standard.
What You'll Do
* Support daily venue operations across all areas, ensuring smooth service, operational efficiency and consistent standards.
* Assist in overseeing food and beverage service, maintaining high levels of presentation, quality and guest satisfaction.
* Act as Manager on Duty when required, leading service and ensuring a seamless guest experience.
* Lead from the floor, engaging with guests, resolving feedback professionally and creating a welcoming, memorable environment.
* Support recruitment, onboarding and training of team members while fostering a positive and high‐performing team culture.
* Assist with rostering, labour management and team performance to drive productivity and engagement.
* Ensure compliance with liquor licensing, food safety, WHS and company policies at all times.
* Support stock control, ordering and inventory management to maintain efficiency and minimise waste.
* Work closely with kitchen and bar teams to deliver a cohesive and high‐quality guest experience.
* Contribute to menu development, promotions, events and continuous improvement initiatives.

Additionally, you bring...
* 3–5 years' experience in a supervisory or management role within hospitality
* Strong knowledge of Victorian liquor licensing and compliance requirements
* Solid understanding of food safety, WHS and venue operations
* Proven ability to lead, support and motivate teams
* Strong organisational, communication and problem‐solving skills
* A calm and confident approach under pressure
* A genuine passion for hospitality and guest experience
