Role Overview

Roles requires 5–10 hours per week, primarily morning sessions on Thursdays and Fridays. Flexible hours and training are available. This position is ideal for someone re-entering the workforce or seeking a few extra hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist clients by cleaning residential homes, commercial offices, and short‐stay accommodation properties.
* Promote health and well‐being by supporting clients in their own cleaning routines.
* Work autonomously or with a team to complete scheduled tasks on time.
* Identify and report WHS non‐compliances; complete cleaning records and training requirements.
* Select and utilize appropriate cleaning agents.
* Perform tasks including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, tidying, and sanitizing surfaces.
* Replenish toiletries, empty waste bins and ashtrays, and replace receptacles.
* Use chemicals, solvents, high‐pressure water cleaners, wet vacuums, and other suction equipment as needed.
* Ensure delivery of a high‐quality clean at each site, communicate professionally with clients, secure facilities, and report any issues to the manager.
* Carry out any other reasonable tasks.
Working Conditions
This is a physical job that requires a reasonable level of fitness and the ability to perform repetitive motions and lifting. Exposure to cleaning chemicals and varying cleanliness standards is expected. Scheduling conflicts may arise and you may be required to work outside normal weekday mornings.
Schedule
Minimum 2‐hour calls, primarily weekday mornings between 6am and 6pm. Periodic out‐of‐hours or weekend work may be requested. Contract Cleaner Award, WA applies shift loading for applicable hours.
Qualifications & Experience
* 1year of experience in residential, commercial, or holiday home cleaning (required).
* Driver's licence (essential).
* National Police Clearance (preferred).
* CertificateIII in Cleaning Operations (optional).
* Excellent organizational and time‐management skills.
* Good physical fitness, friendly, and excellent people skills.
* Ability to work autonomously and in a team.
* Strong attention to detail and a willingness to address nitty‐gritty aspects of cleaning.
