About the Role
Our Project Planning and Assets Team is seeking a Technical Officer, Infrastructure Planning for a one‐year maximum term contract. The role involves analysing, preparing and planning infrastructure works such as roads, paths, drainage, marine infrastructure, carparks and bridges.
Key Responsibilities
* Work with asset management and works teams to identify infrastructure renewal and upgrade requirements.
* Prepare projects for design, contributing to external funding applications and project managing specialist consultancy services.
* Investigate and respond to infrastructure customer requests.
* Perform Local Area Traffic Management assessments.
Qualifications and Skills
* Demonstrated planning and civil engineering experience.
* Excellent problem‐solving and time‐management skills.
* Highly self‐motivated and able to work independently.
Benefits and Conditions
Conditions of employment are in accordance with the City of Bunbury Employee's 2024 Enterprise Agreement with Level 5 or Level 6 salary of $92,990 or $101,013 gross per annum depending on qualifications and experience.
