Role Overview
With a growing portfolio of work across energy, defence and data centres, we are seeking a motivated individual with advisory/consulting experience to join our Melbourne Advisory team and help build our commercial and transaction offering.
Responsibilities
* Be commercially astute, with a background in a consulting or contractor environment and/or related sector experience across our growing portfolio.
* Support procurement & transaction services to clients to acquire, procure and implement major projects and programs.
* Have a high level of drive, ambition and versatility as the role forms part of a broader team that acts upon innovation and thought leadership.
* Assist with proposal writing, proposal co‐ordination, thought leadership and other activities that enhance RPS's ability to win work.
* Develop a network and strong market reputation across the Victorian public and private sectors.
* Provide analytical and practical project delivery support on delegated elements of client engagements.
Qualifications
* Tertiary Qualifications in Commerce / Finance, Law, Engineering or Project Management.
* 4-8 years of proven experience in consulting and/or advisory (project management, commercial / contracts administration, investment and finance, transaction advisory, technical advisory, assurance or risk advisory).
* Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and co‐operatively with people at all levels, to achieve outcomes.
* Track record of working with public and/or private sector clients delivering high quality outcomes.
* Demonstrated ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
* Good analytical and problem‐solving skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Experience in any of our key sectors - energy, infrastructure, data centres or defence is highly regarded, but not essential.
* A Baseline Security Clearance (or higher) is highly regarded, but not essential.
