We areseekinga motivated and customer-focused ClaimsExecutiveto join our growing insurance team. This roleis responsible formanaging insurance claims frominitialnotification through to resolution across a broad range of general insurance products, including commercial& Corporate lines, motor, home, property, liability, and financial lines.
Working closely with the Melbourne Claims Manager and National Claims Managerand the respective teams, you will deliver exceptional customer service while ensuring claims are managed efficiently, accurately, and in line with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Key ResponsibilitiesClaims Management
* Manage end-to-end insurance claims within delegated authority levels
* Assess claim documentation, policy coverage, liability, and damages
* Maintainaccurateand up-to-date claim records within internal systems
* Monitor claim progress to ensure service standards and turnaround times are achieved
Customer Service
* Provide professional, empathetic, andtimelysupport to clients throughout the claims process
* Communicate claim updates and outcomes clearly to clients and account managers
* Manage customer expectations andassistwith complaint resolution whenrequired
* Deliver positive customer experiences during often challenging situations
Stakeholder Engagement
* Liaise with brokers, assessors, repairers, legal representatives, suppliers, and third parties
* Coordinate external service providers to support efficient claim outcomes
* Build strong working relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* 2–5 years' experience in insurance claims management
* Strong customer service and communication skills
* The ability to manage difficult conversations with professionalism and empathy
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making capability
* The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
* Sound knowledge of insurance products and claims processes
* Tier 1 Insurance qualification (or willingness to obtain)
* Experience using claims management systems
* Understanding of relevant insurance legislation and industry codesof practice
