Part Time Pathology Collector – Horsham, Victoria
We are seeking a self‐motivated individual with a high attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a strong focus on outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities
* Collect blood and other samples from patients.
* Attend to the care, storage and processing of pathology specimens.
* Maintain accurate paperwork and associated clerical duties to ensure all details are correct and timely.
* Work alone and participate in weekday and weekend shifts across our collection centres.
Qualifications
* Certificate III or IV in Pathology Collection or relevant industry experience.
* Exceptional customer service skills both in person and over the telephone.
* Sound clinical knowledge.
* Ability to communicate effectively with the collections team, doctors, patients and other stakeholders.
* A current Driver's Licence.
* Rights to work in Australia.
* Vaccination against preventable diseases (proof of immunisation may be required).
* Probity checks including police and licence checks may be required.
