We have developed a purpose-built workshop facility in Paget to ensure we have the capacity and resources to deliver our full-service offering to the Mackay region and surrounding areas.Due to continual growth, we have positions available for experienced Diesel Fitters in our Paget workshop. We offer a choice of roster, either 7:7 or 5:2, both dayshift ONLY.The Role:Performing detailed inspections, maintenance, and repairs on diesel engines and related components.Conducting complete machinery rebuilds from the ground up, mostly on CAT & Komatsu.Diagnosing faults and implementing effective solutions to ensure optimal performance and safety.Collaborating with other team members to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.Maintaining a clean and organised work area, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.Key Requirements:Trade qualifications in Diesel Fitting or equivalent.Previous experience in bare chassis rebuilds and HME maintenance.Strong diagnostic skills and a thorough understanding of diesel mechanics.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.What We Offer:Casual hourly rate of $60ph or a full-time rate of $53ph.7:7 or 5:2 roster: choose which suits your lifestyle best.Opportunities for professional development and career progression.A supportive and dynamic work environment.How to Apply:If you’re a dedicated Diesel Fitter and want to join our Mackay team, we’d love to hear from you!
