The Role
This is a permanent full‐time position commencing Term 3, 2026.
Bunbury SHS is seeking an energetic and passionate learning support, intervention and engagement teacher to join their high performing team. We are seeking a dynamic individual with an enthusiasm and commitment to the development of differentiated learning across a range of Learning Areas.
The successful applicant should be able to display exceptional and contemporary evidence-based standards of teaching that supports secondary aged students with additional learning and engagement needs. They would possess excellent knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum and be capable of differentiating content in an engaging manner, aiming to provide students with a purposeful learning experience that is tailored to their individual achievement profile.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and parents is critical to the role. Additionally, the applicant should be a highly effective team member, actively contributing to a positive culture of success where students are motivated to achieve their personal best. We place value on linking learning with real‐world experiences, ensuring students gain currency for pathways beyond school.

Eligibility
To work with us, you must:
* hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration
* be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment
* apply for a WA Working with Children Check before you start; and
* consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before you start
