Ready to make your mark in the stunning Pilbara? We're seeking an Operations Supervisor to join our JV and lead our professional driving team.
You'll coordinate service deliveries, champion safety, and drive continuous improvement and effective problem‐solving. With strong leadership skills and a proactive approach to HSE management, you'll ensure exceptional service delivery while maintaining the highest safety standards.
This is a residential role to be based in Newman.

What you'll be responsible for
* Assist in coordinating service deliveries through the supervision of drivers
* Conduct daily pre‐start meetings or daily driver debriefs with the drivers
* Manage and resolve occupational health and safety and environmental issues
* Communicate accurate and timely information to all stakeholders
* Manage drivers and ensure full compliance with Chain of Responsibility requirements
* Proactively review route performance to identify route optimisation and improvement opportunities
* Develop a safety‐first and continuous improvement culture
* Problem‐solve by responding to issues of immediate operational concern with a solutions focus
What you'll need to be successful
* A background in logistics (desirable)
* Understanding of National Heavy Vehicle Regulations
* Sound analytic skills and ability to read reports
* Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Strong people skills, including excellent communication and negotiation
* Ability to work autonomously
* Good computer skills
* A strong safety focus
* Experience with the Solid Waste Driver Management computer system is advantageous
