What You’ll Be Doing The position of Network Specialist exists within the Technical Services portfolio of the Digital Health Services Directorate of the Northern Sydney and Central Coast Local Health Districts (NSLHD and CCLHD). This role is primarily based at a single site but will require occasional travel to any sites within NSLHD and/or CCLHD. The Network Specialist will build and maintain NSLHD & CCLHD databases and server services, contribute to technical activities that support and maintain the DHS services of both LHDs, and participate in related projects to ensure timely delivery and alignment with the organisation’s business plan and budget.

Qualifications and Experience
CCNA and CCNP certifications and/or additional industry-based certifications or equivalent relevant experience with experience in DNAC.SDA/Fabric.
Detailed knowledge of effective identification, investigation and response to security incidents or weaknesses in the organisation's security, with experience in developing appropriate solutions.
Extensive experience with Cisco network routers, switches, wireless LAN controllers (WLC), firewalls, and Cisco ISE technologies. Demonstrated expertise in configuring and implementing Cisco switches, routers, wireless LAN controllers (WLC), Cisco ISE, Cisco ASA/Firepower Firewalls, Access Lists, and IPSEC-based VPNs.
