Workshop Labourer Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable Workshop Labourer to join our team at our Gateshead facility. As a Workshop Labourer, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks in the workshop and warehouse, including general labouring duties, forklift operations, pick up and delivery, chemical stock handling, and management.
About the Role:
* You will report directly to the Service & Distribution Manager.
* You will work as part of a small team with a 'roll-up your sleeves' attitude.
* Your responsibilities will vary from day-to-day, requiring flexibility and adaptability.
Responsibilities:
* Perform general labouring duties in the workshop and warehouse.
* Operate forklifts safely and efficiently.
* Participate in pick up and delivery activities.
* Manage and handle chemical stocks effectively.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A strong safety awareness and commitment to upholding safe work standards.
* A high level of reliability and dependability.
* Previous experience working in a similar role (highly desirable).
* A valid High Risk Forklift Licence.
* A current Manual Driver's Licence.
