We are looking for a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Child and Adolescent Mental Health to join our dynamic multi-disciplinary team at Western Australia Country Health Service.
As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will play a vital role in delivering community-based mental health care to complex clients within the Great Southern region. Your responsibilities will encompass assessment, planning, case management, and the delivery of high-quality clinical mental health services. This position allows you to work closely with clients and their families and provides an opportunity to influence the development of clinical practice standards and policies.
About the REGION
The Great Southern region is located on the south coast of Western Australia, adjoining the Southern Ocean, with a coast extending approximately 500 km. It is bordered by the South West region on the west and extends 200 km north to meet the Wheatbelt region. The total land area is 39,007 sq km, representing about 1.5% of the State's total area.
The historic port town of Albany, the State's oldest European settlement, has one of the best natural anchorages in the Southern Hemisphere and serves as the region's administrative centre. It is also the transport hub for most of the region's crops and livestock.
