We are seeking a skilled Geology Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our geology department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the success of our operations.
* Interacting daily with the Geology team to plan and coordinate daily work activities;
* Assisting with production activities such as ore mark-ups, spotting, and collecting in-pit samples;
* Supporting RC drilling activities including sampling and rock chip collection;
* Collaborating with project geologists and drillers to address any drilling or core-related issues;
* Ensuring that sample handling and data recording processes meet quality assurance and quality control (QAQC) standards;
* Completing tasks associated with the daily and weekly sample dispatch services to the assay laboratory;
* Maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
Key Requirements
* Experience in a similar role within the mining industry;
* Strong communication and teamwork skills;
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment;
* Familiarity with QAQC procedures;
* Physical fitness for outdoor work.
