Job Description
You will work as part of a strategic team, building strong and effective relationships and helping officers understand their information management responsibilities and opportunities.
In particular, you will leverage your in-depth knowledge of digital information management tools and platforms to support new ways of working.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, implement, and optimize document libraries, metadata structures, taxonomies, and collaboration spaces.
* Create and maintain workflows, permissions, and access controls to ensure secure document collaboration.
* Migrate documents from legacy repositories to Microsoft 365, ensuring minimal disruption and data integrity.
* Map metadata and ensure appropriate classification, tagging, and storage of migrated content.
* Develop and foster a commitment to quality customer service by providing advice on the development, design, and operation of contemporary information management systems.
* Consult and participate in the development and implementation of policy, procedures, standards, information classification and labelling, user access controls, information sharing protocols, and other necessary frameworks.
Required Skills and Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive) configuration and administration.
• Experience with document management systems such as eDOCS.
• Experience with cloud-based record management platforms.
• Detailed knowledge of current and emerging Information Management trends, standards, and practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with diverse stakeholders and contribute to a collaborative work environment.
• Perform other essential duties and tasks specific to the position as required.
