Job Title: Infrastructure Recovery Coordinator
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing critical support to local councils, state agencies, and infrastructure owners in disaster activities and infrastructure recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
* Disaster Support and Infrastructure Recovery: Provide technical guidance and support to councils and other applicants in developing and managing funding submissions for disaster-affected infrastructure.
* Work with local councils, state agencies, and infrastructure providers to facilitate infrastructure recovery efforts and ensure timely access to funding.
* Contribute to local and regional emergency management committees, providing technical input on infrastructure recovery and disaster preparedness priorities.
* Support reporting and analysis of disaster-affected public infrastructure, contributing to the strategic outlook for reconstruction efforts across NSW.
* Assist in the development of funding program processes to facilitate efficient and compliant infrastructure reconstruction.
* Provide advice and input into program improvements, governance frameworks, and stakeholder engagement initiatives, including opportunities for infrastructure betterment.
