The Role
* Prepare financial statements, income tax returns and general-purpose reports across multiple entity types
* Assist with GST, BAS, IAS, PAYG and payroll tax compliance obligations
* Conduct tax research and support technical tax matters
* Prepare reconciliations, journals and supporting workpapers
* Work with partnerships, trusts, companies and individual clients
* Assist clients with day-to-day accounting, taxation and business matters
* Build strong client relationships and develop advisory capabilities
* Collaborate with senior accountants, managers and partners on client engagements
* Participate in ongoing training and professional development initiatives
About You
* Degree qualified in Accounting, Commerce or Business
* 1-3+ years' experience within Australian public practice accounting
* CA/CPA commenced, underway or intending to commence
* Experience using Xero, MYOB and Microsoft Office
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
* Client-focused with a genuine desire to build advisory skills
* Ability to manage competing deadlines in a professional environment
* Positive, proactive and team-oriented approach
