Job Title: Business Support Officer

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled professional to fill this critical role.


About the Position:

* Provide administrative support functions for financial management processes, ensuring accurate and timely information is maintained.
* Assist in delivering corporate objectives, meeting service delivery standards and timelines.
* Collect statistical data, analyze, prepare reports and quotes for services.


Key Responsibilities:

* Support budget development, risk management, emergency preparedness, change and project activities with accurate advice.
* Under guidance, provide expert support and consultation to corrections and justice services across regions.


Requirements:

* Proven experience with government purchasing processes, purchase-to-payment systems like Oracle.
* Able to learn relevant legislation, policies, procedures, guidelines, and regulations.
* Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications, particularly Excel, Outlook (group mailboxes), SharePoint, and Teams.


Selection Criteria:

* A current full Victorian drivers licence is essential.

The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively within a team environment.
