We're a WA family owned and operated air conditioning and refrigeration trade supply business based in the South West and Perth, supplying tradies and businesses across the state. Small team, busy trade counter, good bunch of people to work with.
About the role
We need someone to join us at the South West location and help keep the branch ticking over. You'll be dealing with tradies day to day, handling quotes and orders, and doing your share of the warehouse work. It's a varied role — you won't be stuck doing the same thing all day.
What you'll be doing
* Serving customers at the trade counter and over the phone
* Quoting, processing orders and following up enquiries
* Receiving stock, keeping the warehouse organised and doing stocktakes
* Building relationships with our regular customers
* Using MYOB and Microsoft Office day to day
* Occasional deliveries and forklift work
What we're looking for
* Some background in trade counter, wholesale or distribution — aircon, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing or auto parts all relevant
* Used to dealing with tradies and know how to hold your own
* Can quote, upsell and handle a few things at once
* Comfortable with the physical side of warehouse work — lifting, receiving stock and being on your feet most of the day
* Some experience with MYOB or similar
* Takes pride in knowing their products and looking after customers
You'll need
* Forklift licence or willing to get one
* Current driver's licence
* Basic computer skills
