St Francis Xavier Primary School was founded by the Presentation Sisters over 125 years ago. In partnership with the parent and parish community, we nurture and practice the Catholic faith. We invite suitably qualified teachers to apply for the following position.
Teacher (Year 4)
Full‐time temporary position for Terms 3 & 4 of the 2026 school year.
Applicants must:
* Hold a current NSW Working with Children Check
* Have full accreditation with NSW Educational Standards Authority (NESA)
* Comply with the Accreditation to Work Teach and Lead Policy upon appointment
Criteria:
* Have a knowledge of and commitment to the Catholic ethos and mission of the school
* Be able to work as a member of a committed team of professional teachers, dedicated to providing quality teaching and learning in partnership with the parent community
* Understand contemporary pedagogy and the ability to differentiate and provide for a diverse range of ability
* Commit to excellence as a classroom teacher
* Show effective classroom practice that fosters independent learners
* Be willing to contribute positively as part of a professional learning community
