Role Description
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Human Resources Manager to join our growing team based in Essendon, VIC. This position will play a key role in supporting Peak Care Services rapid growth by leading recruitment, onboarding, workforce engagement, compliance, and HR operations across the organisation. Working closely with management and operational teams, the HR Manager will help drive staff attraction, retention, and development while fostering a positive and high performing workplace culture. Key Responsibilities
* Lead end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes to support organisational growth.
* Support employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution processes.
* Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and workforce initiatives.
* Collaborate with operational managers to support staffing and workforce planning requirements.
* Facilitate staff induction, learning, and career development programs.
* Maintain accurate HR records, systems, and reporting.
* Ensure compliance with Fair Work legislation, NDIS Practice Standards, and relevant employment laws.
* Promote a positive workplace culture aligned with Peak Care Services' values and mission.
* Assist with staff engagement, retention strategies, and organisational development initiatives.
Skills & Experience
* Previous experience in Human Resources, Recruitment, or Workforce Coordination.
* Strong understanding of recruitment, onboarding, and workforce management processes.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment.
* Knowledge of Fair Work legislation and HR compliance requirements.
* Experience within the disability, healthcare, or community services sector is highly regarded.
* Proficiency with HR systems, rostering systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Solid problem‐solving skills and ability to work collaboratively within a leadership team.
* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline preferred.
