The role

Full Time Fixed Term (until December 2026)

2 positions available

Level 6 - $92,025 to $99,538 pa (plus 17% superannuation)

Campus based with hybrid work arrangements: Albury‑Wodonga, Bathurst, Dubbo, Orange, Port Macquarie, or Wagga Wagga. Alternative locations / remote working also considered.

As an Applications Developer you will play a crucial role in supporting the Student Management Transformation Project in the implementation of a new Student Management system, contributing across all phases of enterprise application development ensuring high‑quality fit‑for‑purpose solutions are aligned with business needs and architectural standards.

About you

- Demonstrated expertise in applications development and support with strong working knowledge of modern and emerging web technologies including SQL and Java
- Proven ability to analyse and design complex technology solutions that align with enterprise architecture and meet strategic business objectives
- Highly developed problem‑solving and analytical skills
- Demonstrated initiative and self‑direction
- Prior experience participating in a project team and/or working within the higher education sector would be highly regarded
