Accountant (Projects) Purpose Support accurate financial management, reporting, and compliance across funded projects while providing financial insight to support operational decision-making. Key Responsibilities
* Manage accounting for projects and funding arrangements, including revenue and cost tracking
* Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and funding requirements
* Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
* Partner with internal stakeholders to provide financial guidance and support
* Prepare regular financial reports, including performance analysis and variance reporting
* Monitor and escalate financial risks and issues
* Assist with accounts receivable, reconciliations, and month-end processes
* Contribute to process improvements and general finance activities
Requirements
* Relevant accounting qualification (e.g. CA/CPA or equivalent)
* Strong understanding of financial accounting and reporting principles
* Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgement
* Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Experience in project or funding environments (desirable)
