System Management Opportunities
We are seeking a System Manager to join our Canberra team, working on Joint projects that drive complex defence and national security initiatives.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering sustainment activities in line with CAF16 mandates, including acquisition and refresh coordination.
This role requires strong management skills, with a focus on vendor performance and contract compliance. The candidate must also have experience in Air Force and/or ADF capability acquisition and sustainment management.
In addition to these key responsibilities, the System Manager will oversee engineering certification, security accreditation, and system change management processes. They will also engage with stakeholders to support capability assurance and lead financial and risk management efforts.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, the candidate must have:
* Experience in Air Force and/or ADF capability acquisition and sustainment management
* Strong understanding of operational aviation environments
* Knowledge of enterprise-scale IT application architecture and related management processes
* Background in information technology and/or military project management
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
