Responsibilities
* Visit a 90‐year‐old woman living at home in Ryde, providing companionship, conversation, and support.
* Speak Italian with her to help reconnect with language, culture, and memories.
* Keep visits relaxed and unhurried, accommodating her limited mobility.
* Spend time with her husband if he joins.
* Offer a friendly, patient, and compassionate presence.
Qualities & Expectations
* Weekly or fortnightly visits.
* Fluent or conversational Italian skills.
* Patient, friendly, and comfortable with older adults.
Requirements
* 18 years or older
* National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare
* One hour visits for 6 months or longer
* Suitable visit times on weekdays between 9am and before 5pm
