Field Supervisor - Process & Pipeline Services

Baker Hughes Process & Pipeline Services (PPS) supports the full lifecycle of customers' assets from pre-commissioning to decommissioning. We help to reduce future corrosion, improve efficiency and maximize throughput. Our engineered solutions for pre-commissioning, commissioning, and maintenance shutdowns include specialized services for the oil and gas, power generation, metals and mining, and other process industries.
Key Responsibilities
* Actively ensure that all HSE procedures are followed at location
* Prepare Engineering procedure under the instruction of Team Leader
* Depending on the size of the project, manage the project or manage a particular shift at job site
* Actively conduct and participate in all pre-job meetings
* Ensure that engineers procedures are followed on all work scopes
* Ensure all rig up of equipment is completed safely as per operating procedures
* Inspect equipment prior to operation and upon completion of operation
* Record and analysis performance data of the equipment spread
* Backload and manifest all the equipment to ensure compliance
* Assist in training of junior staff
* Other duties as directed by Team Leader
Qualifications
* Advanced mechanical aptitude
* Ability to work well and communicate with others, including Clients
* Advanced knowledge of oil and gas industry
* Completed relevant technical and safety training courses
* 5+ years Pre-commissioning and Leak Testing
* 3+ years Supervisor level
Work Arrangement
* This is predominantly field based work with work in BH base needed from time to time, so please discuss your preferred working patterns with the recruiter during the process
