About the Role
You will provide expert clinical mental health nursing care and consultancy services that support recovery‐focused outcomes across community, acute and rehabilitation settings. Working with a high level of autonomy, you will provide clinical leadership, contribute to service improvement initiatives, and support best practice through education, quality improvement and evidence‐based care. You will also mentor and support multidisciplinary staff while contributing to the development of safe, innovative and consumer‐centred mental health services.
* Registered or eligible for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia with a current practising certificate.
* Hold a Graduate Diploma in Mental Health Nursing or equivalent qualification.
* Demonstrated expertise in mental health nursing practice and leadership within multidisciplinary settings.
* Strong communication, problem‐solving and change management skills with a commitment to consumer‐centred care.
* Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check and Immunisation compliance as indicated on the Role description.
