We are seeking a skilled Verification of Competency Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing all plant and equipment verification assessments across the project, ensuring operators are competent, compliant, and qualified to perform their roles safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate and manage the Verification of Competency (VOC) process for all plant operators
* Schedule and organise VOC assessments with site supervisors, assessors, and trainers
* Verify and maintain up-to-date records of operator tickets, licences, and VOC results
* Liaise with Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) and assessors to ensure compliance with project and regulatory standards
* Monitor expiry dates and coordinate timely reassessments to maintain operator currency
* Generate compliance and audit reports for management and client requirements
* Support continuous improvement of training and competency management systems
Requirements:
* Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE or equivalent)
* Previous experience in a similar role within construction, civil, mining, or infrastructure projects
* Strong understanding of plant operations, competency frameworks, and Work Health and Safety (WHS) compliance
* Current driver's licence and RII tickets for plant such as Loader, Haul Truck, Telehandler, Excavator, or similar
* Excellent coordination and administrative skills with high attention to detail
* Experience liaising with RTOs, assessors, and site-based teams
* Confident using training and compliance management systems (e.g., 3D Safety)
* Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
