About the role
Due to exciting growth in our business, we are looking for an experienced, professional and team‐player to join our team as a Meter Technician based at our Ballarat depot. As a Meter Technician, you will carry out all work relating to meter installation, testing and maintenance services, investigating and rectifying metering and communication faults for both internal and external customers installations.
Using your can‐do attitude, approachable and personable disposition, you will strive to ensure that we meet company customer‐service objectives of providing a safe, reliable, timely and cost‐effective supply of electricity and associated services.
Responsibilities
• Install, test and maintain metering equipment.
• Investigate and fix metering and communication faults.
• Ensure accurate metering for internal and external customer installations.
• Maintain safety and quality standards while meeting service delivery targets.
What you'll need from day one
* Qualification or Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician; Metering Trade; or a recognised equivalent qualification
* Statement of Attainment for Competency Standard Units (compulsory)
* Current Refresher Training records (compulsory)
* Construction Induction Card (compulsory)
* Car licence (compulsory)
