About the Role:
An opportunity currently exists for a Grade 2 Clinical Psychologist/Health Psychologist to work on an ongoing, part-time basis within the Psychology at Home Service (0.9 FTE/68.4 hours per fortnight). Generally registered psychologists enrolled in an AoPE Registrar Program for Clinical Psychology are also encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
The Psychologist will form part of a broader multidisciplinary team providing Best Care for the community of the West. In this role, you will collaborate with other psychologists which includes Health Psychology, Neuropsychology and Clinical Psychology and play a key clinical role in providing psychological assessment, individual and group interventions, and psychoeducation, and work alongside a team of passionate and highly skilled psychologists at Western Health.
You will contribute by assessing the client's needs, identifying, and mitigating psychological barriers to goal attainment, utilising a range of modalities and techniques. You will receive regular supervision, support from the whole team and have access to a range of professional development activities. Depending on your experience, support of provisional psychologists on fieldwork placement, and Psychology Registrars will also be required.
