Beaufort River Meats is seeking a dedicated and motivated Stockyard Supervisor to join our team. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll oversee the care, movement, and documentation of livestock, while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations in our stockyard and paddocks.
Key Details:
* Hours: Sunday – Thursday, 9:00am – 6:00pm (flexible working hours)
* Location: Beaufort River Meats, 46 Macri Road, Beaufort River 6394
* Salary Package: An attractive Salary Package for the successful Candidate
Main Responsibilities:
* Receiving, counting, and penning/paddocking livestock
* Managing farm paddocks and ensuring livestock requirements are met
* Overseeing animal welfare and stock awareness at all times
* Coordinating with vets, employees, and management to ensure smooth operations
* Maintaining accurate documentation of stock received from clients and saleyards
* Using livestock programmes and basic computer systems for records and reporting
* Applying knowledge of export meats processing facility fundamentals
What We're Looking For:
* Strong people skills with the ability to manage staff and liaise with vets/clients
* Practical experience in livestock handling and welfare
* Reliable, organised, and confident in decision-making
* Comfortable with basic computer skills and documentation
* A team player with a genuine passion for animal welfare and farm management
