We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Mental Health Clinician to join our multidisciplinary team in the Infant and Child Mental Health and Wellbeing Service.
As a Mental Health Clinician, you will provide psychosocial assessments, treatment, and consultation to women and their families during the perinatal period, infants, and children up to 11 years of age.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing comprehensive psychosocial assessments of infants and children involving the client, family, and engaged agencies.
* Engaging and working with the infant and child's family in both the assessment and treatment process as informed collaborators in the management of the child during their episode of care.
* Working alongside agencies involved in the infant and child's care, providing consultation where required.
Requirements:
* A formal qualification in Psychiatric Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Social Work, or Clinical/Forensic/Neuro Psychology.
* Experience in clinical skills in the psychiatric assessment and treatment of infants and children up to 11 years of age.
* Advanced clinical decision-making skills regarding the management of risk in relation to children.
