Every project is secured via direct negotiation or self-performed, allowing complete control over quality, margins, and delivery outcomes. As their pipeline continues to grow, they are now seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to join their close-knit team.
The Role
* Design management and project planning of a 16 level multi-resi project
* Client management and engagement
* Develop, manage and lead a well-resourced project team
* Management of head contract claims, extensions, variations
* Understanding of construction methodology is essential
* Take ownership of the project from the outset, managing the design phase and overseeing procurement before leading construction
* Create and drive the programme and achieve or exceed project deadlines
* Cost reports and budget forecasting
* Provide consistent and accurate reports & forecasts to management
* Build a productive, high performing culture and environment on site and foresee potential issues/delays to productivity
The Candidate
* 5+ years' experience as a PM on building projects $50m-$100m+ for Head Contractors within Australia
* Multi-resi and/or commercial project experience (multi-level project experience essential)
* Dynamic and outcomes focused, able to lead the team through potential issues with conviction and clarity
* Strong use systems to enhance productivity and synchronicity
* Be highly process driven, methodical and ensure progress towards key targets - time/cost/quality/safety
* Excellent contract knowledge and management of head contract claims, variations, EOT etc.
* Proven track record of managing projects and teams from initial design and project set up through to a successful completion
* Strong building knowledge, up to date with the latest construction methodology and well-developed problem-solving skills
* Strong negotiation, communication and influencing skills
* Excellent organisational skills, ability to manage a high workload and maintain accuracy and proficiency
The Package
* Immediate interview & start pending notice period
* $230,000 - $250,000 + Super (negotiable upon experience)
