opportunity will require you to:
Perform basic maintenance and fault diagnosis on air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
Carry out painting tasks, including surface preparation and minor repairs.
Undertake basic plumbing repairs, such as replacing or repairing cistern components, reseating taps, and clearing blocked toilets or drains.
Replace light globes, including work requiring the use of ladders and motorised lifting equipment.
Repair and install locksets, door hardware, and related fittings.
Conduct minor carpentry and joinery repairs as required.
Perform maintenance and fault finding on catering equipment.
Complete tiling repairs and apply silicone in kitchens, bathrooms, and similar areas.
Use basic computer skills to manage daily emailed tasks and submit work order requests via email.
This position requires travel to varioussites as needed and may include weekend and public holiday work. Applicantsmust hold a valid,
unrestricted driver's licence
and have access to reliabletransport.
About you
You are a proactiveand reliable professional with strong technical aptitude and a hands-onapproach to maintenance. You have excellent organisational skills, a practicalmindset, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team to ensurefacilities and equipment are maintained to a high standard. A commitment tosafety, efficiency, and teamwork will be key to success in this role.
Key Attributes and Experience:
Proven experience and understanding of preventative maintenance programs.
Demonstrated experience in general maintenance and repair activities.
Knowledge of air conditioning and refrigeration systems along with the ability to complete basic mechanical repairs is highly desirable.
A practical, hands-on attitude and willingness to undertake a variety of maintenance tasks.
Strong team player with a positive and cooperative work ethic.
Commitment to maintaining a safe, efficient, and well-presented working environment.
