Job Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the position of General Manager in our Brighton location. As a General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations and sales of the region, reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer.
Your primary objective will be to maintain occupancy levels by building an exceptional community for existing members, while signing up new ones. You will also be tasked with solving facilities issues and motivating a small team.
To excel in this role, you must possess excellent leadership skills, be comfortable leading from the front, and have a strong ability to build relationships.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Build an exceptional member experience, including delivering an extensive events calendar and building an engaged and vibrant community
* Maintain impeccable standards across your site - managing operational requirements such as maintenance and cleaning
* Troubleshoot facilities issues and ensure sites are compliant and within budget
* Maintain Occupancy through your sales pipeline, touring prospective members, holding retention conversations with existing members and cultivating relationships both within the surrounding ecosystem
* Build relationships with your team, motivate them, train them, set expectations and create a service-first culture
* Improve processes and question systems to make them as efficient as possible
Requirements:
You must be a confident leader, able to guide and motivate your team to success. You should also be charismatic, positive, and personable, with a natural ability to build strong relationships.
Additionally, you should be detail-oriented, resilient, and commercially astute, with a sharp eye for improving operations using data, goals, and clear thinking.
Benefits:
This role comes with a competitive salary, ranging from £38,000 to £48,000 depending on experience. You will also receive a generous time off package, including 31 days per year plus additional leave for every year at the company.
