Freo Group Pty Ltd, part of the global Marmon Holdings and backed by Berkshire Hathaway, is seeking a highly capable Finance Analyst for our Corporate Head Office. This Monday‐to‐Friday hybrid role offers the flexibility to work from home one day per week.
The position reports to the Financial Controller and requires a finance professional who can go beyond traditional reporting to provide insightful analysis that supports business decisions.
What You'll Be Doing
* Prepare monthly management accounts and financial performance reports.
* Provide meaningful analysis on financial results, trends, and variances.
* Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
* Partner with branch and operational leaders to understand performance drivers.
* Support month‐end and year‐end close activities.
* Assist with statutory, regulatory, audit and group reporting requirements.
* Maintain balance sheet integrity through reconciliations and review.
* Identify opportunities to improve finance processes, reporting and business‐partnering outcomes.
What You'll Bring to the Team
* Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
* CPA, CA, ACCA or equivalent qualification.
* Experience in corporate accounting, management accounting, financial reporting or audit.
* Strong capability in management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience using ERP or reporting systems.
* Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non‐finance stakeholders.
* Strong attention to detail, accountability and ability to deliver within deadlines.
* Proactive, solutions‐focused approach with sound commercial judgement.
