Role
This is a permanent full‑time role – five days per week / 38 hours.
The successful candidate will have previous experience as a Centre Director and can demonstrate the required skills and knowledge of the role.
Some of the Centre Director’s responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
* Overseeing the day‑to‑day operation of the centre inline with our policies and procedures
* Fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment
* Managing the service’s Quality Improvement Plan
* Working with the educator team; building relationships and guiding practice. Providing hands‑on support as required.
* Building relationships with families; encouraging open communication and collaboration.
* Ensuring compliance across the centre with support from the management team
* Staff management and recruitment with support from the management team
* Managing enrolments and building centre occupancy through positive word of mouth, marketing and community partnerships.
Required Skills & Experience
* Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
* Diploma in ECE or teaching qualification
* Current First Aid & CPR, Child Protection certificates
* Current Blue Card
* Strong working knowledge of the Education and Care Services National Law & Regulations, NQS and EYLF; as well as practical experience to run a high‑quality centre while meeting all regulatory obligations.
