About the Role
As a Support Worker, you will be working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are ever the same. You will be responsible for providing daily assistance and support to consumers in their daily activities, including personal care, domestic assistance, social support, transport, meal preparation, and mobility.
You will work collaboratively with our team to ensure that all consumers receive the highest level of care and support. This will involve maintaining accurate records of care provided and any observations or incidents.
Your role will also involve fostering a safe and supportive environment for clients, understanding and committing to maintaining consumer confidentiality, and adhering to all health and safety practices in a care setting.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide daily assistance and support to consumers in their daily activities
* Assist with personal care, domestic assistance, social support, transport, meal preparation, and mobility
* Maintain accurate records of care provided and any observations or incidents
* Foster a safe and supportive environment for clients
* Maintain consumer confidentiality
Key Requirements
* Certificate III in Individual Support/Aged Care
* Current First Aid, CPR, and Manual Handling certifications
* National Police Check (completed within the last 6 months)
* Valid Drivers Licence and reliable transportation
* Able to work independently and as part of a team, with knowledge of health and safety practices in a care setting
