We are growing our South Australian operations and have an exciting opportunity available for an External Sales Engineer to join our South Australian team, based in Adelaide.

As an External Sales Engineer, you’ll work closely with our team of Sales Engineers, customers, and various departments to ensure everything is running smoothly. Your role will be critical in driving growth and sales within the current and new market, making you an essential part of our team.
What tasks will you perform?
- Build strong customer relations through regular face to face meetings and phone interactions.
- Drive sales activities through the active use of C-360 (Salesforce) including; converting leads and manage opportunities from creation to execution, generating visit reports and maintaining sales forecasts.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs.
- Develop an in-depth knowledge of our product range, including technical features adn benefits tailored to industry needs.
- Stay ahead of market trends and industry developments to uncover new business prospects.
- Work closely with Internal Sales Engineers and the wider team, actively particpating in meetings and training sessions.
What do we expect from you?
- A solid track record of achieveing sales targets
- Experience in instrumentation, knowlege or exposure to Endress+Hauser products would be an advantage.
- Tertiary qualifications in electrical, instrumentation or a related discipline.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop and successfully implement account plans, forecasts, reports and call plans.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to make good commercial decisions and to think outside the box.
- Tech savvy and proficient in MS Office and Salesforce CRM.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask.
- Have excellent attention to detail and a demonstrated ability to follow through on tasks to completion.
