Our client is a dynamic and growing drinks business with a strong portfolio of premium spirit brands from around the world. This senior leadership role owns the national field sales function, driving revenue, distribution, and brand growth in close partnership with the leadership team.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead national sales strategy to drive revenue, distribution, and growth
* Build, coach, and develop a high‐performing field sales team
* Manage key national accounts across retail, on‐premise, and wholesale
* Negotiate and secure major commercial agreements and tenders
* Oversee wholesaler and distributor performance and alignment
* Deliver forecasting, reporting, and data‐led growth strategies
* Partner with Marketing on campaigns, launches, and brand activation
* Identify and convert new market opportunities
About You
* Ideally experience in a sales leadership role within the Australian liquor industry involving field coaching and mentoring
* Motivation and ability to manage national, multi‐state sales teams
* Strong background in key account management across on‐ and off‐premise channels
* Demonstrated success negotiating national agreements and managing wholesalers
* Highly commercial with strong analytical and forecasting capability
* Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
* High energy, hands‐on, and comfortable working in a fast‐paced environment
* Willingness to travel nationally as required
