Role Description
The Senior Agriculture Adjuster is a full-time, on-site role based in Toowoomba, QLD. This role is responsible for conducting investigations of agricultural claims, including site inspections, damage assessments, and documentation of crop, livestock, and property losses. The Senior Agriculture Adjuster prepares detailed reports, quantifies losses, and provides evidence-based recommendations in line with policy terms, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. The position involves liaising with producers, insurers, brokers, and other stakeholders to gather information, clarify claim details, and manage expectations throughout the claim lifecycle. The role also includes contributing to internal best practices, and supporting continuous improvement of assessment methodologies and client service.

What we're looking for
* 5+ years' experience as an agricultural adviser or agronomist.
* Comprehensive understanding of agricultural practices, crop and livestock production, and farm infrastructure
* Excellent investigative and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse complex situations and identify appropriate solutions
* Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with farmers, clients and stakeholders
* Excellent report writing and documentation skills
* Tertiary qualifications in agriculture, rural science, agribusiness or a related field preferred
* Experience with insurance claims or loss assessing highly regarded.
* A valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to regionally and interstate as required
