Position
We are looking for a full‐time Chef to join our team at Brunswick.
Compensation
Salary: $77,000‐$80,000 per annum plus superannuation.
Responsibilities
* Preparing and cooking main meals, entrée and bread as per recipes provided.
* Working on new recipes to add dishes on restaurant menu.
* Inspecting food preparation and serving areas to ensure observance of safe, sanitary food‐handling practices.
* Training apprentices and kitchen staff when required.
* Working with management for big events and following management instructions.
* Assisting restaurant management in catering when required.
* Storing food in temperature‐controlled facilities.
* Maintaining inventory and ordering restaurant supplies.
Qualifications & Experience
* Trade qualifications as Chef (Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or above).
* Minimum one year of experience.
* Good knowledge of cuisine and spices.
* High level of discipline and ability to follow detailed instructions.
* Professional and enthusiastic attitude.
* Excellent personal hygiene and presentation.
* Good communication skills both verbal and written.
