About the Role
A highly respected, long-established Australian business in the consumer goods sector is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to support senior leadership during a 12-month period of maternity leave. Key Responsibilities
Executive Support
* Manage complex calendars including meetings, appointments, events, and calls.
* Prioritise and coordinate shifting demands with minimal disruption.
* Prepare meeting materials, presentations, reports, and briefing documents.
* Ensure timely and appropriate access to senior executives.
* Handle highly confidential and sensitive information.
* Assist with ad hoc and personal tasks when required.
* Produce weekly, monthly, and annual reports.
* Allocate and monitor corporate event ticketing.
Communication Management
* Draft, edit, and proofread correspondence and documentation.
* Manage and respond to email inbox communication as appropriate.
* Facilitate clear communication between executives and internal teams.
Travel Coordination
* Organise and book domestic and international travel arrangements.
* Prepare comprehensive itineraries and resolve travel-related issues.
* Complete travel diaries and reconciliation tasks.
About You
You are polished, adaptable and confident supporting senior leaders in a dynamic environment.
* 5+ years' experience supporting senior executives in a corporate or similar environment.
* Proven experience handling confidential and sensitive information.
* Outstanding organisational and time-management skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
* High emotional intelligence and strong interpersonal skills.
* Initiative, autonomy, and the ability to anticipate needs.
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and related tools.
* CRM experience is an advantage.
* Professional, discreet, and trustworthy.
* Calm under pressure and adaptable to changing priorities.
* Strong judgement and decision-making capabilities.
* Confident communication style and polished presentation.
